Brief History: Her father was a respected Pokémon trainer who travelled almost everywhere in attempts of catching Pokémon. Mabel was never able to tag along until she reached the age of 10 years old and went with her father to catch her first Pokémon. To stay simple, they stayed in the Whirl Islands and found a Kirlia wandering about. That Pokémon has been dear to Mabel since. Over the course of seven years, her mother died, and so she travelled with her father to catch her other four Pokémon. Only a week before her father died, a Vespiquen was given to her as a gift of protection. She never took it out of it's Pokéball, and only will if in serious danger.
