Brief History: Gayle grew up only knowing her father, who was a saleskeeper at a nearby Poké Mart. Her older sister was a Pokémon trainer, and caught many different ones to use for battles and just for the sake of having them. When Gayle was 10, she received her first Pokémon, a Nidoran. It disliked not running wild like it had used to, but eventually it grew closer to Gayle. The day after Gayle turned 13, she went out with her sister Emelia on a mini Pokémon finding expedition. They found a group of wild Rapidashes, and discovered a Ponyta that had wandered away from the group. Together they caught it, and the Ponyta was hers.
