About the Summit Crater

A bubbling pit of magma that spits fire and smoke. The peak of the mountain blew open in an ancient eruption that ravaged the entire island, and ever since, has remained the veritable wasteland seen today. The crater is big enough to hold a jumbo jet, and Pokémon live among the craggy outcrops that lead down to the lava-filled center. People can only get so close to the lava before the heat becomes unbearable.
